My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie: Sophie is very young, probably not even 1 year old yet. She is a beautiful gray tortoiseshell kitty with big green eyes. In her pictures, her eyes appear to be yellow, but I think that’s just the lighting in the room interfering with the camera. She actually has green eyes.

Sophie is a tiny cat; she only weighs 7 pounds and has the cutest tiny little paws. Sophie was found at an apartment complex in Charlotte when she was very pregnant. The girl who found her brought her into her apartment, where 2 days later, Sophie gave birth in this girl’s bathroom. The girl then called my rescue group for help.

So Sophie and her babies have been in my foster care since that day. Sophie’s babies are now 8 weeks old and are also available for adoption.

Sophie is a wonderful little cat. She is extremely friendly and has a good sense of humor. She likes to be silly. As she is so young, she is very playful and likes to pretend to stalk you. She is very kitten-like. She does not like dogs, which is understandable as she was a stray.

Sophie has been spayed, given all her vaccines and she tested negative for feline leukemia/AIDS. She is very healthy and is ready for a loving person to adopt her. We are asking for a $50 adoption fee for Sophie, to help us recover some of the vet expenses.
