Trooper's Story...
Before Christmas a litter of puppies was released to the local county shelter, our rescue group took in 4 of that litter. With no mother or father to judge breed & size, we can only guess at the breeding of these pups. We're guessing Lab-mix, and size could be medium or large when full grown. Estimated date of birth is Nov 9, 2012. Trooper is the only male in our group of puppies, and has large paws so may grow up larger than the others. Pups are adorable, friendly and playful - will make great family pets. Please email ccarescue@gmail.com for an adoption application - these puppies will require a home with a fenced yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trooper, a Evans Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Evans, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Evans.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evans already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evans breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evans paves the way for another one to be saved.
