found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Beau was surrendered because his family is expecting a baby and Beau was not receiving the exercise or attention he needed.
It appears that Beau was pretty isolated from the world while with his former family - he needs someone who will take him out and share time and new adventures with him.
Beau is full grown - and weighs approximately 65 lbs. He is VERY outgoing and friendly with humans - a bit too friendly at first (he needs some training to keep him from jumping up on humans - he just gets too excited).
Beau has his own Gallery on Flickr. Check it out!
Beau is also good with other dogs. He shared his previous home with a young female Pittie.
Due to lack of foster, Beau is currently in a free-range, home-based boarding situation in Greene, Maine where he lives with other dogs, cats and free-range chickens! As Beau is a big boy who tends to jump up, he should go to an adult-only home or a home with older/larger children.
An ideal home for Beau would be with a calm and consistent leader, who will commit to a daily exercise routine and take him to an obedience training class.
He is quite athletic and eager to please, but also can be quite mellow if he receives his exercise.
Beau loves to cuddle and is craving human attention. He bonds very quickly with his caretakers. He is a really great dog!
He knows a few commands already (sit, down, stay), but needs someone to re-enforce his existing knowledge.
Beau is house trained and crate trained.
This pup is a true diamond in the rough. He is a loyal and loving companion who will make a wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Pittie lovers - please pass the word on this boy!
Beau is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines.
Beau is listed as a courtesy for a foster family that's not a part of the Lucky Pup Rescue network. Contact email@example.com for an application.
Our process includes a completed application, vet reference, home visit and meeting between dog and family members.
