Saddie's Story...
Saddie was found as a stray roaming the streets. She was brought to a high kill animal shelter in Eastern KY. It was Saddie’s lucky day in more ways than one… The good Samaritan that brought her had flown to visit her family for the holiday’s so she couldn’t take her but had been watching her for weeks and then saw her being kicked by a families neighbor. When she came to the shelter there was an almost home member visiting the shelter and brought her home. Sophie is about 1-2 years active little lady. She is very friendly, sweet, loving and cats doesn’t seem to bother her..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Saddie, a Hazard Brussels Griffon/Brussels Griffon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brussels Griffon/Brussels Griffon for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Brussels Griffon/Brussels Griffon dog from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brussels Griffon/Brussels Griffon breeders who help with Brussels Griffon/Brussels Griffon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
