Lucy--adopted!'s Story...
This happy little girl is Lucy! She is 2 years old, black and tan with natural ears and a docked tail. She was surrendered to us because of a change in living situation and has quickly made friends at the rescue. She loves everyone and everything, plays well with other dogs and gets along cats and loves any attention she can get. She's very energetic and would do well in an active household. She would be fine with children but can be a little bouncy for very young children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy--adopted!, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
