Kingston's Story...
Kingston is a sweet, gentle, sensitive boy! Our regal boy really has taken his abandonment by his previous owners hard. He doesn't understand why he doesn't have a home and a family of his own. A place of his own to rest his head each night. Toys to play with and plenty of laps to snuggle into. Our volunteers our doing their very best to shower him in love and attention, letting him know that his new family is out there and they will love him for all the days of his life. He is very eager to meet them!

While Kingston is a big boy, he is shy around new people and things. We have found that when he is in a home environment he gets over his shyness quite quickly. He loves going on walks and jogs and makes an excellent companion on your neighborhood adventures or out and about for hikes around the valley.

Kingston is looking for a home where he will get plenty of daily exercise, lots of hugging and snuggle time are mandatory for our loverboy as well. So if you're looking for a loving, gentle, active dog, look no further! Kingston is your boy! He can't wait to meet you so please fill out an application for him today - www.azrescue.org.

Kingston weighed 59 pounds when we saved him from kill list.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kingston, a Phoenix Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
