Hi there! My name is Maverick and I am just the cutest beagle ever, wouldn't you agree? I think life is all about having fun and living life to the fullest. I love people and wag my tail so much that my whole body wiggles! I love to be wherever you are, and do whatever you like to do. That can be going for walks or hiking, going for a ride in the car, snuggling together on the couch, or just hanging out in the local park playing fetch and doing some people watching. I get a little crazy at the dog park, so I prefer to spend my time with just you. I can be particular about my dog friends, and I like to chase cats and small animals. When I walk on a leash I do tend to be a little reactive when I meet other dogs, so it is a good idea to make sure I have my space all to myself when we are out walking. My perfect home would have only me in it, or dog friends that I help pick out. I also prefer to live somewhere without any young kids around. The older ones are alright with me though. I am well-behaved in the house when I am left alone while you go to work or to run errands. At my foster home they have a doggy door that I know how to use. I am a good watchdog and I take my duties seriously. I will not hesitate to alert you to any noise or strangers around your home. Once you check things out, I will stop sounding the alarm right away.
