Ruff Ruff! My name is Buddy Boy
Buddy Boy's Info...
|Breed:||Schnauzer (Miniature) Mix||Color:||Black - With White||Age:||Young|
|Size:||Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less||Sex:||Male|
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Buddy Boy was on the euthanasia list at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control where he was listed as a two year old male. VSGSR pulled him and within 24 hours he became ill with Parvo. Through the generosity of many people, Buddy Boy was treated for his parvo and will be going to a foster home in a few days to recuperate and then be neutered once he is stronger. He is a smaller dog about 25 lb and all natural. He looks very similar to dogs we have had in the past that we knew were schnoodles. We are guessing that Buddy is also a schnoodle. Because Buddy got parvo we are guessing at his age at being from 8 mo to 18 mo. His teeth were crystal clean when we got him.
We would prefer Buddy not to be in a home with small children. We have no idea of his history. He will not be neutered for a few weeks until we are certain he is healthy again. He will not be available to be adopted for a few weeks. Once he gets to his foster home, we will know more about him.
Buddy Boy is doing beautifully in his foster home. He gets along with all the dogs there and is a happy camper. He will make some lucky person a wonderful pet.
Buddy's adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in Buddy, please email us email@example.com Applications in the immediate area are given preference and you need to be within driving distance to come and pick up a dog. We do not ship our dogs. When you adopt a dog from us and for some reason it doesn't work, the dog must be returned to VSGSR and a full refund is given. Any dog adopted from us at any time comes back to Valley of the Sun Giant Schnauzer Rescue if the adopter can not keep the dog. We are responsible for our dogs for their lifetime. And we hope our adopters are also. Each dog will have been neutered, had full panel blood tests done, been microchipped and up to date on all of hershots. We do prefer that you be within driving distance of Phoenix to adopt one of our dogs. If the adoption doesn't work out for some reason with in the first thirty days, the adoption fee is refunded upon return of the dog. Our contract states that during the life of the dog, should something happen that you can not keep any of our dogs, the dog must be returned to VSGSR. Should a family member wish to adopt the dog, they would be given first priority. We are responsible for our dogs for their entire life. If interested, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Emailing is the best way to contact us as we are all volunteers.

Rescue Group Info...
We are a Giant Schnauzer rescue, although we do help with others when asked specifically to do so - miniature schnauzers, schnoodles, Dobermans, etc., and have helped other folks get involved in forming a 501(c)(3) organization of their own. We take in rescues from shelters (Giants do not do well in a shelter environment - they can become protective of their kennel, and they are a "velcro" dog - need to be with their humans) and other situations (i.e., divorce when no one wants to keep the Giant), etc., vet check, rehabilitate where necessary, and then place in a loving home with someone willing to put in the time and effort on a pet after doing a home visit. A Giant is NOT a dog that can be left in the back yard by itself. They need human companionship. All of our members are volunteers, and we do it stricly for the love of the breed.
Currently our pets can be found on Petfinder.com. If you'd like to meet them, they need to contact Deer Creek Animal Hospital where many of our pets are being fostered. They get plenty of care and attention, as well as playtime!!!
We require a home visit. Our adoption fee is based on age, and we do have an adoption contract that must be signed prior to adopting. Our adoption contract is for the safety of our rescues. And, yes, we have had dogs returned to us due to health problems of family members, etc. If you are interested in one of our dogs that are available for adoption, please email us at email@example.com for a faster response.
Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico; however, we assist with Giant Schnauzer throughout the country.
