My name is "Patriot" and I'm the most wonderful, adorable, special little boy you could find, and here's why...
I’m healthy and strong enough to take on the world, with stamina to have a good play with other dogs or my foster mom and dad. I’m just over a year old and I weigh 12 pounds. I’m neutered, up to date on vaccines and micro chipped. My teeth are in good shape since I'm still a younger fellow, and good food helps keep them strong.
Personality plus....Where you are, so am I. My purpose in life is to ensure your happiness and comfort. I will bring your slippers (after running around the house with them a bit) with no marks or holes. I will keep you warm at night under the covers, as I'm the best snuggler in the world. They say mini-dachshunds are like mini-furnaces, and my foster mom agrees. You will never be cold! I will greet you at the door when you come home with loads of love and kisses regardless of your day. When you want to go out for a drive, "The Patriot Man" will be right there, and I’ll keep an eye out the windows to watch the world go by. I will keep you company when you when going out for walks, and I’m eager to play and meet new friends as we go. I still need some patience as I’m working on my house training, but I aim to please, and with consistency and lots of praise, I’m sure I will learn to do my business outside.
If you ever need me to use a crate, I'm OK with that, provided it has a good big towel or blanket to play with and crawl under to have a nap. It's a wonderful safe place, and I understand if that's where I need to be for a short while.
We can have a great life together if you'll give me a chance. Quiet as a church mouse, happy to be your door bell, and will never see you cold. I am "Patriot" and you will never regret letting me into your heart...
