Cherie was dumped at Castaic Shelter. She had double cherry eyes which was keeping her from finding a home. We brought her to The PRC December 10th. The public helped us raise the funds to pay for her almost 2,000 dollar surgery. She is now spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated and cherry eye free. She is in great spirits and does not seem to think she ever had it badly. She gets along with other pets very well and is a bundle of fun. If you are looking for a little lady with a huge smile, come meet her today!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
