Jeri Lynn's Story...

Jeri Lynn is a female pointer mix with an approximate birth date of 10/20/12.

Jeri Lynn came to Last Chance Rescue from the north end of Flint from a backyard breeder. The man wouldn't provide any information on where her mom or the rest of the litter was but he was willing to sell her to anyone who had cash. Her foster parents purchased her to spare her from ending up in the wrong hands and so that she could properly develop and be socialized with other puppies and people.

Jeri Lynn has really blossomed in her foster home. When she arrived, you could see her ribs and now she is a nice healthy ten-week-old pup. She loves, loves, LOVES people and never stops enthusiastically wagging her tail. She is small and probably won’t grow to be very big, but her spunk, fearlessness, and personality make her feel ten times her size.

Jeri Lynn will be at the Brighton PetSmart adoption event this Saturday from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. For more information about Jeri Lynn or to apply to adopt, please contact

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeri Lynn, a Howell Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Howell, or seeking a Pointer puppy from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
