Goldie/Maddie Adopted!'s Story...
I just got adopted and my new family has re-named me to Maddie. My name is Goldie and I am a very nice, really sweet, 1 1/2 year old, blonde cocker girl. I came here to CCR with my litter mate, Travis, from a SC shelter, after animal control posted a message for help to find a rescue to take us, so that we can both find a good home. I was badly matted and dirty and I have an ear infection, which is being treated. I have now been scheduled to be groomed and I had to be checked to see if I needed to be spayed, but it turns out, I already am. I am heartworm negative and a very happy, friendly girl. I would love to find my way to a great home so that I can be loved for the special girl that I am. Please come to see me. . . . I would love to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goldie/Maddie Adopted!, a Kannapolis Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Kannapolis, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Kannapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kannapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kannapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kannapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
