Nice, Nice, Nice is all we can say about this handsome black boy Barkley. Barkley is an average/tall sized boy, weighing about 60lbs and is 1 to 1 ½ years old. He is a very gentle and mild mannered boy and absolutely loves the show of affection from his humans. Barkley has such warm and soulful eyes, they melt my heart. Everyone who meets him remarks about what a nice boy he is. He is good with other dogs and has been socialized with men, women and children. Barkley doesn’t even pay much attention to the kitties. He is definitely one great boy and will make a terrific addition to any family. He loves to go for walks and does pretty well on the leash. He takes treats nicely and loves his belly rubs and, of course, just plain old hugs too. Barkley will do great in many home situations - to a family with children, to a single person looking for canine companionship, to empty nesters wanting to go for long walks with their best buddy.
Barkley is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. He is micro chipped and has been kept on flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
