This is “Baby”.... She lives in Riverside, California on the streets with a woman who is trying to check herself in somewhere to get her life together and get off the streets and we were asked to find her a loving home. Baby and Jasmine have been together for nearly two years. Jasmine said that the day her own baby passed away this dog was put in her path and she believes was a gift from God. That being said...Jasmine feels it will be best for “Baby” to go to a loving home and not back to her whenever she is finally healed physically and emotionally. She asks that her beloved dog go to a home with adults who will be able to spend most of their days with her as she is used to this type of attention. She does not do well with children but has been nothing but sweet around us whenever we have stopped where they hang out. She is a nearly two year old Spayed-Akita/Chow mix.She would most likely do best being the only dog. Her present owner hopes the new owners will keep the name she chose if possible. She is presently micro chipped and up to date on shots though they will expires soon. She already gave up a puppy because she knew it was the best thing for the dog and now she needs help to do the same for a dog that won’t be quite as easy to place as a tiny puppy. If you know anyone who might be interested please contact us right away by messaging, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 951-662-0631. Time is of the essence. It will be another bittersweet placing as her present owner adores her and doesn’t really want to give her up so we are hoping our “village” can give this animal a good life and this woman can have the life she wants to create for herself. Let’s help her as she works to help herself.

Welcome to Treasured Tails Canine Rescue. We are a volunteer based all breed dog rescue focusing on Riverside County and San Bernardino County animal shelters. The dogs we save from shelters are the ones in danger of euthanasia. Highly adoptable dogs lose their lives due to many reasons. Shelter over crowding, an easily treatable medical condition or injury, a dog who is extremely shy or frightened in the shelter environment or in many cases the dog is simply in need of a make over at the groomers. Once a dog enters our rescue he/she goes into a foster home where we can get to know that dog better which allows us to match the dog up with the right family. We do this for the love of dogs.
FOSTER HOMES ARE ALWAYS NEEDED! PLEASE CONTACT FOR FURTHER INFO ON BECOMING A FOSTER FOR OUR RESCUE.
Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. If you are interested in learning more about a particular dog, please contact us at email@example.com or call 951 852-7999
Our adoption process is as follows. An adoption application needs to be filled out so we know a little more about you and your home. This helps us match the right dog up with the right family. If it looks like a good match we will set up a time where the family can meet the dog and spend time together. It is required that all members of the household and their current dogs (if any) be present during the meet and greet. If things go well and the family decides to adopt, Treasured Tails will deliver dog to its new family on a day/time agreed upon by both parties.
Adoption fee is $200-$250 and that includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies. utd vaccinations and deworm.
An adoption contract must be signed by both parties upon adoption.
