Alvis- courtesy post's Story...
Alvis is approximately 4 months old and was rescued from the Apache Junction pound as an underweight kitten at high risk to be euthanized because he was too small to be altered and adopted out. He has a very sweet temperament and loves to cuddle. He is usually found napping by your side, or lounged across your lap. Rather lazy, but has a playful side as well. Well socialized with dogs, and other cats. He is litter box trained. Alvis has an adoption fee which covers his neuter, testing, vaccinations, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alvis- courtesy post, a Scottsdale Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
