My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bogey is a 3 yr old cockapoo who is 18 lbs of cuteness! He has had a lot of transition in his short life so he's ready to settle down in a home with good leadership and consistent rules. Bogey loves playing fetch with a variety of toys, he loves cuddle time, walks, and car rides. He loves to explore by sniffing, and is curious about everything. He loves to hide his toys and chewies, and then go find them. Bogey is still has some 'puppy' in him, so can sometimes play rough without meaning to. He can be a bit nervous, especially with new people, but will warm up to anyone who has treats handy and who lets him initiate the interaction. He is housetrained and crate-trained but doesn't use a crate any more. He loves chewing rawhide, eating veggies, apples, bananas and peanut butter.

Bogey loves sitting in front of the woodstove and loves laying on a mat with a heating pad. Bogey is OK on leash; he could use some more walking practice and he uses a harness or gentle leader. Bogey has done great with older kids, and he is fine with a dog-savvy cat and other dogs. He doesn't love to be touched on his feet so grooming is best done with a professional.

Bogey likes the snow and will roll around in it. He knows how to sit, come, lay down, and go to his bed. He barks three times or goes to the door to tell the humans he needs to go out. After a bath, he will run around the house with the "zoomies".
