Pancho's Story...
For more information on this dog or to request an application, please email swoolcott@cox.net.

This little guy was a stray so we don't know much about his history before coming to us but given his shyness, we can guess. He is a little nippy when he feels threatened, particularly in the store environment, so we don't take him to Petsmart unless someone specifically wants to see him and is fully briefed on his personality. No children for this little one but he gets along with most dogs his size. Don't know about cats. He is a sweetheart when he trusts you but it will be up to you to gain that trust. He needs an experienced person to help him to learn to trust and to train him. That requires patience, experience and love. He's such a nice little guy with those he knows and will need a very special home. Unless you are able to work with rehabilitating an abused dog, this isn't the guy for you. If you are, he's a super sweetie when you get to know him...and even more so, when he gets to know you. In those circumstances you WILL NOT MEET A NICER LITTLE DOG. For more information or to submit an application, please email swoolcott@cox.net. Rescue a forever friend!

About our adoption process: For more information or to request an adoption application (required), please contact the dog's foster listed above. There is no commitment by submitting the application - it just helps us determine if the pet you are interested in will be a good match for you. Next is a meet and greet at one of our adoption events - typically held on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Chandler, AZ (Ray Rd & I-10). Not every pet is at every event so please contact us first to find out when and where you can meet the pet you are interested in. If there are other dogs in your household, we suggest bringing them to ensure everyone gets along. The standard adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $140 (cash or check) which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip and collar/tags.

About Benji's Buddies Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Benji's Buddies is a non-profit (501c3) organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of pets into permanent, loving homes.

Benji's Buddies was founded by a small group of volunteers who value every pet and believe in their unique individuality and their ability to enrich the lives of others.

We believe that adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment and that no matter what turns life may take, the responsibility and obligation to that pet as a family member should remain constant. Pets are NOT disposable! They are living beings who feel love, fear and loss. Too often in rescue work, we see the result of human cruelty and negligence. These pets are desperate to be loved though their trust has been broken. We feel they deserve better!

We seek adoptive families who understand the meaning of this commitment and want to give a home to a pet in need. By home, we mean a place of love and security...for the rest of their lives.

Come Meet Our Pets...

You can meet our dogs every Saturday from 10am - 3pm at the Petsmart in Chandler, AZ located at 4609 Ray Rd.Phoenix, Arizona 85044
