Riggins's Story...
Riggins is the only boy in a litter of 6 that was born Oct 5h. He's now 12 weeks old and weighs 10 lbs. He's had his first 2 rounds of shots and is a happy, healthy, playful pup ready to go to his forever home.

His mom is a sweet beagle (Little Ann - also adoptable) and we're not sure about dad, but based on Riggins looks, we think dad was a dachshund. We guesstimate that Riggins will be 15-20 lbs at his adult weight.

Riggins loves to play with people, other dogs and toys and is doing great with housebreaking ... both outside and with puppy pads.

If you think Riggins would be a good addition to your family go to www.heavencanwaitanimalrescue.com and submit an adoption application. Thanks for adopting!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riggins, a Russellville Beagle/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Dachshund for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Beagle/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Dachshund breeders who help with Beagle/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
