I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Princess's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Princess's Story...
We are looking for a special home for this lady pei. She is the ultimate “princess” in that she needs to be the only animal in the home so that she has your undivided love and attention. She had a rough life prior to rescue as she was involved in a cruelty case and spent months at a shelter. The shelter workers loved her and were thrilled to see her rescued. She is just now getting hair on her body. There are some marks (possibly burns) where the hair may not return but what she has is improving with a good diet. She is also heartworm positive but on the monthly regiment so that should be cleared up soon.

Now before you pass her over, remember that there are lovers of the Mexican Hairless Dogs. Princess is so much prettier than one of those because she has wrinkles to boot! If you think you can open your home and your heart to this pei-bei and want to learn more, fill out an application today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Gainesville Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei for sale in Gainesville, or seeking a Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Gainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei breeders who help with Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
