Chance's Info...
Important Note: Chance is best friends with Scooter N Chance. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
| Breed: | American Shorthair | Color: | Orange Or Red Tabby | Age: | Young |
| Sex: | Male | Hair: | Short |
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
CHANCE was given his name by a person who found him living as best he could and very neglected. He had an abcess from being bitten by another animal. He was easy to pick up because he was a natural lover and must have had some home life sometime. Befriended Felines was contacted to help CHANCE find a home and get some medical attention. CHANCE is a hugger. He climbs into his foster's lap and puts his paws around their neck and nuzzles. He is love itself. He wants to sit on his foster's shoulders and be as close as he can. A more loving and accepting cat would be hard to find after everything he has been through. CHANCE had to fend for himself but he is not shy and he is totally trusting of his human companions. CHANCE doesn't have any agenda except to be accepted into a home where he can give and receive love. He is truly an angel.
CHANCE is a year and 2 months old. Neutered, current on his shots and tested negative for Fiv/Felv.

Rescue Group Info...
We are an all-volunteer, foster-based group which serves to assist felines at greatest risk at our county animal shelter. We only rescue cats which are assurred to be euthanized for reasons of space, temperament and/or medical reasons without rescue assistance. Each of our volunteers has devoted a number of years, prior, volunteering at our county animal shelter (a.k.a. "the pound") and has firsthand experience in the tragic reality of the effects of homelessness on companion and feral animals. Many of the cats labeled "feral" by shelter standards prove to be merely tame, frightened animals simply needing a sense of safety, security and love. Our obligation is to those impounded which have no way out. And though we can not rescue all, we rescue as many as we responsibly can.
