Sherman's Story...
This is our beautiful hunk SHERMAN. Sherman is 15 pounds of love. Sherman was rescued from San Luis Obispo Animal Services. The shelter became full and ,sadly, many tame cats are euthanized to make room for more incoming. This may have been Sherman's fate, but volunteers saved his life and he is enjoying it now. He is an excellent companion for humans and likes his feline friends also. He has been around dogs and does well with them. He acts like a dog himself sometimes.
Sherman likes to have a job and a routine. He is a great patrol cat for rodents and loves to have his indoor comforts with his human family.
Sherman is neutered, current on shots and has tested negative for Fiv/Felv. He is a happy, healthy, Huge boy.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are an all-volunteer, foster-based group which serves to assist felines at greatest risk at our county animal shelter. We only rescue cats which are assurred to be euthanized for reasons of space, temperament and/or medical reasons without rescue assistance. Each of our volunteers has devoted a number of years, prior, volunteering at our county animal shelter (a.k.a. "the pound") and has firsthand experience in the tragic reality of the effects of homelessness on companion and feral animals. Many of the cats labeled "feral" by shelter standards prove to be merely tame, frightened animals simply needing a sense of safety, security and love. Our obligation is to those impounded which have no way out. And though we can not rescue all, we rescue as many as we responsibly can.
