Pinkie's Story...
Aren't I handsome? I find it hard to believe that someone would leave me and my siblings in a box in front of a 7-11. Do I look like a slurpy? NO, I look like a very handsome kitten, if you don’t mind. I think my name is Pinkie because of my pink nose and pads on my feet, which get even more pink when I'm playing. I love to play, especially with my brother Cyrus or any of my other siblings, frankly. I also love having my back rubbed and I'm a wonderful purrer. Sometimes I'll even ask for attention, but also politely. I'm very good about using my litter box. I would love to find a forever home with one of my siblings. Two kittens are always better than one! Kind of like a buy one, get one sale at the convenience store! We promise to keep you entertained for hours – at least from 7:00 till 11:00. (PLEASE NOTE: I can only be adopted in the DC Metropolitan area. There will be no exceptions to this policy.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pinkie, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
