Noah's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Noah's Story...
NOAH is a 5-year-old pit bull terrier. He is an affectionate and energetic 70-lb. dog. His best friend is Casey, who is also looking for a home. Can you provide a safe and loving home for this deserving boy?

Noah has not been around kids so he needs an adult-only home. Should be the only male dog in the home but is normally good with females--even bossy ones! Noah's adoption fee is on a sliding scale of $100-$150--you choose the amount that is right for you.

About Dogs Forever

About Our Shelter...

Dogs Forever Safe Place provides refuge for homeless dogs, where they receive loving care, free of fear and free of the threat of being euthanized. This is their sanctuary until Dogs Forever places them with a reputable rescue, a no-kill shelter or a forever family.

The dogs at Safe Place come from kill shelters where they were at risk of being euthanized and from Iowa counties that have no animal shelter.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Dogs Forever Safe Place is located at 809 Rockford Road SW in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We are just down the road from the Ice Arena. Our front door faces the right field of Kernels stadium.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters are required to complete an adoption form. They need to provide either a vet reference or two personal references. Once reference checks are complete, we arrange for a home visit.

Our adoption fees are on a sliding scale; choose the amount that’s right for you. Fees for senior dogs (7 years and older) are on a sliding scale of $90 to $125; fees for dogs 1-6 years are on a sliding scale of $125-$175; fees for dogs under 1 year of age are $150-$200. Please note that we do have exceptions to the above fees on occasion, and these fees will be stated in the dog's bio.

If you are 65 years or older, the adoption fee is waived when you adopt a senior dog. All Dogs Forever dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated against rabies and distemper/parvo, tested for heartworm and Lyme disease, and microchipped.
