Reagan's Story...
As the 40th President of the United States of America, one of Ronald Reagans most endearing characteristics was his optimism and friendly demeanor. Our Reagan is a is a gorgeous 3-5 year old chocolate and tan female who is also optimistic but this sweet girl is optimistic that she will soon find her forever home. Like her namesake, she is friendly and loves everyone. This little sweetheart gained her freedom from a local shelter and is now ready to find a new first family. She currently has bilateral cataracts and is currently being treated with eye drops. For the sweetest dog around, this Reagan gets our vote!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reagan, a Houston Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Houston, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
