Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jordan is a sweet and playful girl with a thick, soft, beautiful coat. She loves to cuddle, give kisses and follow her people around. She enjoys playing with stuffed toys, chasing the tennis ball, or wrestling in the yard with other dogs. Every once in a while she even gets the resident cats to play with her too! Jordan is very adaptable to situations. If there is someone to play with, she is ready to play and full of energy. But if it's a relaxing night, she's just as fine curled up next to her people on the couch. She gets along well with other dogs and cats and also does well with children. Jordan comes when she is called, stays close to her people when off leash, and is learning basic commands like sit, down, shake and lay down. She is still working on her potty training, but is coming along nicely. She sleeps through the night without problems and has never had an accident in her crate. She is estimated to be 6-7 months and weighs approximately 25 lbs.
Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom & dad are!), we are guessing on breed and size when grown.
Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.
If you are interested in meeting this dog or pup please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.
We also have an Adoptable Dog Meet & Greet on Saturday, January 12th at Fetch Delivers Warehouse at 2303 Kennedy St. NE from noon - 2 pm.
