Vinnie's Story...
Vinnie is a laid-back, sweet, loving, easy-going, gentle 4-year-old Great Dane who enjoys walks, play time, hanging out on the sofa and spending time with his canine foster brothers and sisters. He gets along with pretty much everyone and he lives with dogs of various sizes (no cats currently but he's met a few and has been fine with them). Vinnie came in to the rescue with his brother, Tony and both have adapted quite well to life indoors. Vinnie will need some continued leash work but he is eager to please and is a fast learner. Vinnie is a true gentle giant who will make someone very happy! Could that someone be you? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vinnie, a Fort Collins Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
