Cooper's Story...
Meet Cooper aka Little Man. I’m a 3yr old, male Blue Heeler. My foster parents say I’m the perfect human companion. I like to sit near your feet (I’m very careful not to trip you), snuggle at night, and when you throw a ball…. I’m on it!! I return the ball to you to keep the fun going. I love to take walks and enjoy going on jogs. I have very few things to say. I’m quiet and may seem a little standoffish at first but I’m reserved with my emotions. I’m house trained and doggy door trained. I know some commands like sit and shake. I get along with other dogs and older children, but we are not sure about cats. I’m neutered and up to date on all my shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
