Rodney's Story...
Sweet Rodney is 4-5 months old, combo test negative, has had his first vaccinations, and will be neutered before adoption by his veterinarian foster Mom! Rodney is quite calm (very socialized). He is already getting along with his foster Mom's cats and is not freaked out by her noisy kids either. He's playing a lot but still kind of just exploring the new house. He's always used the litter box and eats both canned and dry food. He'd probably be okay with calm dogs too.

Contact his foster Mom directly in order to meet him and find out more: Shirin Modaresi 803-517-3392 (cell) or smodaresi@gmail.com or 706- 886-2169 (W)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rodney, a Wakinsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wakinsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Wakinsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wakinsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wakinsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wakinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
