Guinness is a 2 year old neutered male, UTD on all vaccines, micro-chipped and tested negative for heart worm.
Guinness is a cutie, he will give kisses and love you all day long. He is a doll, still a little strong on the lead but he is so smart he is learning quick. He is good in his crate. So far no accidents in the house and he is learning about cats and is very good about giving them a wide birth after receiving an ear boxing from my older guy who is declawed. Smart dog!!
Guinness knows his name and will come to it. He sits, shakes and is learning down and stay. Guinness is very good with other dogs, he has made fast friends with my dogs, all larger dogs. Guinness is 55 lbs.
Guinness will be at The Silver Bone Salon on Sunday Jan. 13th from 11 to 3 pm. The Silver Bone is located at 1550 S. Milford Rd in Highland. Please come see him. He's just a wiggley, giggley kind of guy.!!! He looks a bit grumpy in the photos (still at the shelter) but he is a fun playful guy!!

Last Chance Rescue was formed in 1997 in order to save animals that would have otherwise been destroyed at area shelters. Giving them a chance at a loving home. We are a very diversified group, saving over 27 thousand animals from kill lists and research selling lists. We provide medical, food, shelter and a loving home until a new family is found. We are a true "No Kill" shelter, while protecting the welfare of the general public.
We are volunteers and many of our animals are in foster care.

Dogs and cats are available for adoption at the PetSmart in Brighton on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 pm.
Some cats stay at the Luv-A-Pet center located in PetSmart in Brighton and can be seen during regular business hours.
All our pets have a number listed for more information. Arrangements can be made to meet that pet by calling that number.
Everyone must fill out a pre-adopt which will be reviewed at the time of the adoption.
If a puppy is not spayed or neutered, there is a contract to be signed stating that the puppy will be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age. All adult dogs, cats and kittens are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
We always take our animals back no matter how long ago they were adopted. A contract is signed stating that the animal must be returned to us.
