Hi all, my name is Lewis. I am a distinguished fellow. I am about 7-8 years young. I am going to be a wonderful addition to a lucky family. I have a strange story about how I ended up in the rescue. I was adopted from the shelter a couple of years ago. My family did not keep track of me very well. I was picked up by animal control all the time. The last time my family was called, they told the shelter to keep me there, they were not coming back. Turned out to be the best thing ever! My foster family is completely in love with me. I hear all the time, “How could anyone not come back for this fabulous boy!”

I have an endless list of wonderful qualities. I am super cuddly and love to be petted. Belly rubs are my favorite. I am housebroken and crated during the times when the foster family is not home. I really think I could be free in the house but I don’t want to brag. Everyone that meets me thinks I am so nice. I get along with all the cranky dog gals that live here. I am a good eater and take treats very gently. I do not jump for food and my foster family is proud of my manners.

I have a bit of playful energy. I did find the toy box and love to play with them. After a short play session I am ready for a nap. Since I am an older guy, I do snore. My foster family says I just fit right in with the rest of the gang.
