My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update 01/02/13: Tim-E here, I've moved to Largo, Fla. I am currently weighing around 7 lbs but have a ways to go for a healthy weight and better skin condition as you can see! Foster mom said we're going to work with medicated shampoos and good food and lots of lovin' to get better! We'll keep you updated as I get better and better ;-)

INITIAL BIO 12/14/2012: Meet Tim-E! (pronouced Timmy) :) Tim-E is an ADORABLE little boy who was an owner surrender from a hoarding situation. He is 6 years old and 6 lbs and has hair loss over most of his body from skin allergies. At this time, we aren't sure whether the hair loss is from food allergies or from chronic tick and flea infestation. Time, good food, and care will be able to help us tell what the cause is. Tim-E will also have a full blood work panel done.
Tim-E was a true gentleman in the car on the ride home. Even though he is obviously neglected, he is very loving and gives kisses. He was shaking from fear (and probably cold since he has little hair..... he wears a little tshirt now) but was trusting enough to follow FM on the leash and know she was one of the "good guys". He had a nice bath (we still aren't sure where all that dirt came from!), had more than a few ticks taken off him, and had a nice blow dry. Tim-E is on his way to happily ever after!
Tim-E has an unusual name. He is actually named after Timothy E. Johnson, the caring young pilot who used to rescue dogs and fly them where they needed to go with Pilots N Paws (a rescue group where volunteer pilots assist rescue groups transport homeless dogs from foster home to foster home or sometimes to their furever homes). Tim passed away this week in a plane crash where he was traveling for business alone. We are all grieving our loss and wanted to honor our friend by naming our next little furkid Tim.
Please keep watching as we get to know Tim-E better :)
