Black Jack's Story...
Not all animals attend every adoption event. Please contact us for more information on this dog.

Don't be fooled by this guy's light colored face. His beard just matches his feet. He is such a youngin' and far from *shhhh* old...
Black Jack was found running loose in the neighborhood where his foster mom lives. As she pulled up into her drive way and opened her car door, Black Jack jumped in to say hello. He is a little lover and wants nothing more than to be held and kissed on the side of his muzzle. He has a playful side, too, and will play fetch or tug of war until you are tired. If you can't play, he will entertain himself, finding his favorite toy in the toy basket and getting comfy on the couch. He can be a little competitive and has a Napoleon complex with bigger dogs. He seems to prefer smaller and/or younger dogs that have an easy going, submissive personality. He will need to meet any dog in your home before getting adopted to make sure they are a good match. He is great with cats since most are bigger and more assertive than even him.
You can meet Black Jack at our adoption event on the weekends or by appointment during the week.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Black Jack, a Coppell Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
