Why Choose me?

Metcalf has a note on his kennel that states, “My dad passed away and I don’t know if his family can get me. Please help me find a new home.” That is so sad. Metcalf is a friendly guy. He’s been neutered and cared for. Most of the time that we were together in an interaction pen, he stood at the gate like he was looking for someone. I got him to chase a ball a few times, but then he was back at the gate waiting and watching. He’d wag his tail when I talked to him and petted him, but he knew this wasn’t his home and I wasn’t his owner. Metcalf needs a new home and a new family that he can bond with.
