SENECA's Story...
My name is SENECA, and I’m a rough coated, tri-colored, spayed female Jack Russell Terrier. I’m completely crate trained and I love to ride in the car and travel. All my shots are current, and I have been microchipped. Also I have been heartworm tested with negative results. I’m too beautiful for words, and I love everyone. I’m good with kids, but no kids under the age of 6 years, please. I’m pedigreed and am JRTCA registere; and I am retiring from the show ring, so I’m well-mannered. I don’t get along with cats, which is typical of Jacks. But I get along great with male dogs – but not females! I require a house with an adequately fenced yard, so no condos, apartments, or townhouses without yards. I want to be a house pet that is loved and cherished. I am happy to sit by your side while you read or watch TV, but I also like long walks and would be great as a running/jogging companion. I love to play, play, play! And I’m a great watch dog who will alert you when strangers approach. Since Jack Russell Terriers are not a breed for everyone, please go to and read all about Jacks first. Then if you think I’ll be the dog of your heart, email Sue at or call her at 480-391-9837 and request an Application for Adoption. My adoption fee is $300. You’re gonna love me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SENECA, a Scottsdale Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
