Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Wallace the Seal. I guess that's not really my full name but everyone laughs at me when I jump up and down like a seal while waiting for someone to throw the ball for me. I don't care what I'm called as long as someone throws that ball! I'm quite nimble with my retrieves, which some folks find surprising as I'm slightly overweight. I don't own a scale, so I think we're fine with "slightly overweight" and stay away from that obese word others seem to want to use. I'm working on it! Besides chasing balls, my hobbies include dispensing love and working toward world peace. I'm a friendly guy toward everyone and everything. Why not? I'm a 9 year old black Lab so I know that love makes the world go round. I'm great with kids, cats, and other dogs, if I say so myself. I have the perfect Lab temperament so I know a little extra weight or a few years under my belt won't scare off Lab lovers. I'm definitely a keeper!
We require an application, phone interview and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed. Our adoption fee for dogs under 9 months is $250, dogs between 9 months and 8 years is $195 and our super seniors are $175. Please visit our website for more information. Thank you!
