My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Chino and I am a one-year-old "Chig," a Chihuahua-Italian
Greyhound mix. My beginnings were not nice, nor were the humans
involved kind to me, so I am just now learning to trust humans. My
foster mommy is convinced that at some point in my life I was beaten
upside the head because, when this rescue group first got me, I would
shake in fear, and cower if anyone raised a hand near my head. Now, I
am not only getting over that, but I can do agility jumps with grace,
and I love to run on the treadmill with my foster mom. I am quite
athletic in nature and would do well with further agility training. I
am looking for a warm-hearted person who will take time to train me,
since I am eager to learn. So far, I have learned to play the piano
(see video below), and I can take a bow. Please consider me if you are
thinking about rescuing a dog. I have come such a long way in rescue
and I am ready for the next step, in a home where I can run, frolic
