ZORO's Story...
Hi my name is Zoro! I am a 7 week old male Lab/GSD mix. I will not be ready for adoption until 2/8/13. But they are taking applications for me! I love playing with other dogs/kids/cats and chew toys. I am just a baby right know but will grow to be a fairly large dog. I would want a forever home that has an active family with a large yard. Zoro is current on vaccines and will neutered and micro-chipped before being adopted. We are accepting applications at this time. Currently being fostered in Simi Valley, CA. Contact Lorna at Lorna@hopenheroes.com. Donation/Adoption fee and home inspection required. IF YOU RENT you must provide a landlord letter stating that you are allowed to have a large breed dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ZORO, a Torrance Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
