ERNIE's Story...
Hi my name is Ernie. I am a 3 1/2 month old GSD mix. HNH rescued me and my brother Bert from a High Kill Shelter. I love to play fetch, tug-a-war and run around and play with other dogs. I will be a large dog and currently weigh 18lbs so would love to have a forever family that is active and has a large yard. Bert is current on vaccines, micro-chipped and will be neutered prior to adoption. Currently being fostered in Reseda, CA. For an application email or visit our website at: Donation/Adoption fee and home inspection required. IF YOU RENT YOU MUST FURNISH A WRITTEN LETTER FROM YOUR LANDLORD ALLOWING YOU TO HAVE A LARGE BREED DOG.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ERNIE, a Torrance German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Torrance, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
