Maggie Mae's Story...
Little Miss Maggie Mae just appeared one day on her foster's back porch! Her foster mom took her in, because she looked pretty cold and hungry. She's been in heaven ever since. She has filled out very nicely and is quite the gorgeous little kitty! All the boy kitties love her too -especially her buddy Mr.! She is very gentle, loving and affectionate. Please consider giving her a forever home. dob 5/24/12

About Our Rescue Group...
The Rainbow Connection Animal Foundation is a non-profit, no-kill, 100% volunteer animal rescue organization which rescues homeless, abandoned, and surrendered cats and kittens and ultimately places them in loving homes. We are also active in and practice Trap/Neuter/Release methods in order to maintain the feral and stray cat population.

WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER. WE ARE A SERIES OF FOSTER HOMES.

All RCAF cats/kittens are vaccinated, tested for FIV/FeLV, treated for parasites, and spayed/neutered. Each animal is placed in foster care and observed and socialized as needed. Adoptions take place in private homes, PETsMART stores, and veterinary clinics.

RCAF relies on donations, adoption fees and volunteer support in order to operate and continue rescuing homeless and abandoned cats.

Rainbow Connection has a 100% return policy which means in no uncertain terms, should the animal become ill, can no longer be cared for by the adopter or is simply no longer wanted, the animal is to be returned to Rainbow Connection. This ensures that this animal will never be homeless again in essence, Rainbow animals have a home forever.

ALL RAINBOW CATS/KITTENS ARE SPAYED OR NEUTERED PRIOR TO ADOPTION. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Our adoption donation fee is $85 per cat and/or kitten. All donations and are tax deductible.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie Mae, a Cleveland Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
