Ruby's Story...
Meow! Hi there! My name is Ruby, and I'm an adorable little lady that was born to a kitty that Happily Ever After rescued as a stray from Hayman Falls, WI. My siblings, Diamond and Sapphire, and I were born on September 17, 2011. Now that we've all grown big enough to be adopted, we're raring to go! I love playing, snuggling, and wrestling with my siblings! I will make an adorable addition to any home that is lucky enough to adopt me! Please stop by and meet me soon, and I promise that I'll win your heart! Hugs, Ruby **Ruby is currently located at our Petco West Adoption Station, 2505 W. Mason St., Green Bay, WI.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Green Bay Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
