Raisin's Story...
Raisin was born in the shelter August 27, 2012. She was one of 8 babies born Lilly, a few days after her rescue. Lilly had been severely injured and it's a true miracle that her babies survived, let alone, thrive and be happy healthy babies. Raisin, unfortunately was born with tiny tremors which make her look like she's dancing. Although more noticeable when she was a tiny baby, it's almost impossible to see them now. There are no lasting or long term problems with these tremors. She is a joy and just a loving loving puppy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Branch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Branch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue.
