Lovey's Story...
Meet Lovey a female all black kitty approx 1.5 to 2 yrs of age who is completely blind and just gave birth a week ago to 3 healthy babies. Cats Bridge to Rescue will be getting her eye surgury once she is done her job as a momma. Lovey is just wonderful, she is so darn sweet and once she is done nursing she will seek out her foster mom and come sit on her shoulder and chest for some love and affection. The babies will adopt very easily once they are old enough but this poor mommy will also be looking for a home. I promise you that she is purrfect in every way and that blind kitties act just like seeing kitties, they play and run around and are happy as any other. I can put you in touch with two other parents who have adopted blind kitties from us and still can't believe that these babies are truely blind. Please consider Lovey for your next pet and contact Cats Bridge to Rescue at 215-987-8961 if interested in meeting her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lovey, a Trevose Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Trevose, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Trevose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trevose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trevose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trevose paves the way for another one to be saved.
