Kipper's Story...
Kipper is one of the cutest little boys around. What a soft and beautiful fur coat he has too. One of his favorite activities is to chase birds and hunt for bunnies so you will need to be aware of your surroundings when you are on your walks. Don't be fooled by his size, Kipper is one very energetic little boy and will need a very active family to keep him happy. Another canine in the house would be a plus. He is a very well behaved little boy and is learning his commands. He has sit mastered and is a very smart boy so stay, down and come should be no problem to teach him. As much as this boy likes to explore and run he also can be found snuggling next to you on the couch or your lap if offered. Your life will certainly be enriched if you were to bring this soft coated angel into your home. To learn more - www.azrescue.org.

Kipper weighed 13.1 pounds when we saved him from the kill list.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kipper, a Phoenix Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
