Introducing Penny (aka Ms Penny Lane) - an adorable 9-month-old girl who is just waiting for you to stop and say hello!
Penny is a pug/chihuahua mix - with fawn coloring and a lean chihuahua body (weighing in at just under 9 lbs), and a tail that isn't always sure whether it wants to curl or wag.
While she definitely can be active (she is a real morning-pug), Penny loves cuddling and being held most of all. She is great with kids, but is a bit wary with other dogs. However, she has warmed up to her foster brother, a Yorkie, and would likely be less intimidated by smaller breeds. Penny is housebroken, and knows to go outside to do her business, even if she usually wants her human to follow her out.
So if you are looking for a sweet little cuddlebug to call your own, apply now, and before long you might have Penny Lane in your ears and in your eyes.

Pug Rescue of Austin is a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of abused, neglected and unwanted pugs. We do not discriminate on the basis of health or age.
Our mission is to provide a safe, caring and humane refuge for abandoned pugs and to ensure quality adoptive homes.
Pug Rescue of Austin promotes responsible pug ownership through public education about the unique needs of pugs and a mandatory spay/neuter policy.
Adoption days are held at the Petco at Great Hills Trail in Austin, TX (9828 Great Hills Trail, Austin, TX 78759) every first and third Sunday from 1-3 (unless otherwise noted under events section of our website.)

Our policies, procedures, and fees are listed on our website and in our applications and contracts. We require an approved application prior to setting up a meeting (usually a home visit), a contract if the meeting goes well, and a trial adoption period before finalizing the adoption.
Adoption Fees
6 months and under: $350.00
7 mos to 4 years old: $300.00
5 to 9 years old: $250.00
10 to 11 years old: $200.00
12 and older: $100.00
