Why Choose me?
Buddy is an owner surrender, so he came with his name. Since there’s already one owner surrender lab named Buddy, I added “Big” to his name. I must say, however, that the name Buddy suits this big boy. He’s friendly, loving, and will be a great companion for whoever adopts him. I always wonder if big dogs will pull me around Animal Control, but Buddy is great on a leash. He also knows how to sit on command and will come when you call him. In an interaction pen, Buddy wanted to give me a hug, but on such a wet day, I wasn’t too happy about muddy paws, so he responded to “down” and was happy being petted. Buddy is calm and gentle. He wants to be with you and is an all around wonderful dog. Buddy’s owner is moving and unfortunately couldn’t keep him. He’s already neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Come meet this friendly and handsome fellow today! As an owner surrender in a pound that is once again full, he isn’t guaranteed any amount of time.
