Mylo's Story...
Kid Friendly, Good With Other Dogs, Moderately Active
Hey There, My name is Mylo! I am a sweet and spunky 8 pound 3 year old male Chihuahua. I ended up in rescue because my mom just didn’t want me anymore. But I do not let that get me down because I have met some really nice people in the rescue. I like to be social and get out and about to meet new people and see new places. I like going for car rides, taking walks, chewing on bones, and snuggling with humans. For the most part I get along well with other dogs, but I can be a bit bossy with bigger dogs. I do love children, in fact I will seek them out to play with me. I am house broken and crate trained too! I am neutered, up to date on my shots, heartworm negative, and micro chipped. My adoption fee is $150. Please visit www.softplacetoland.org to fill out our online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mylo, a Ft. Collins Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Ft. Collins, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Ft. Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
