Trevor's Story...
Meet Trevor! This handsome boy has been given a second chance and is ready to take on the world! But first, he needs to find a forever home and family. And what a lucky family it will be! At just 5-6 months old and 30 lbs., Trevor is a playful Boxer/Lab mix who has quickly charmed everyone he meets. True to his breed, Trevor is a wiggly, playful bundle of fun that just loves to be with people. This boy is convinced that he’s a lap dog too! And who could deny a dog with that constantly wagging tail and those wonderfully mischievous eyes?

In addition to enjoying the company of people, he loves to be with other dogs. So, Trevor would love to share his home with a canine sibling or two. He is also working hard on his leash manners and is sure to be a pro in no time. Trevor will make a wonderful addition to an active, loving family.

If you would like to give Trevor his forever home, contact his adoption consultant, Kim, at 440-572-5690 or gr8dane3@hotmail.com for more information. Trevor can’t wait to meet you!

About Our Rescue Group...
The Rescue Inn, Inc. ("TRI") is an Ohio non-profit, foster-based rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in need.

We are run by a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about our four-legged friends. Our mission is to save dogs from high kill shelters and abuse/neglect situations and place those animals into loving and permanent homes. We promote responsible animal ownership and provide medical treatment, foster care and training to unwanted, abandoned, lost or surrendered animals.

Our animals are spayed/neutered, receive appropriate veterinary care and are placed into a safe, secure foster home while waiting for their permanent home. We also strive to work with other area shelters and rescues to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to enhance our rescue mission.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trevor, a North Olmsted Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in North Olmsted, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in North Olmsted.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Olmsted already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Olmsted breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Olmsted paves the way for another one to be saved.
