Tate is a small, lanky Chihuahua about 6 pounds and very active. The vet estimates he is about 1 1/2 years old. He has been neutered and given his vaccines. He is not the typical Chi as he loves to run and jump. He is always on the go. He gets along with the numerous dogs in my house, both big and small. He has not been with cats. He is not interested in my finches. Tate is very sweet. He lets me dremel his nails each week with no struggle at all. I think he would be a great little sport dog; either agility or flyball. He may be small but he is one of those dogs who needs a job to burn off all his energy. FOR MORE INFO ON TATE, PLEASE CONTACT ALISA AT pjstaffy@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TATE, a Phoenix Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
