You'll need a lot of spunk to keep up with this boy because Franklin is an adorable bundle of energy! He is a purebred mini-Schnauzer, which means he's got the intelligence, the looks and the energy to make an incredibly fun companion. Frankie was misunderstood and mismanaged in his last home where he lived in a large family of nonstop kids who would never give him a break -- much too much commotion for a very young puppy. One day he nipped at one of the smaller children because he couldn't stand being pestered any longer, and the family realized a puppy was not the right addition to the family so they surrendered him. Because of that, we will only allow Franklin to go into a home with older children over the age of 10. Franklin will do best in a home that understands Schnauzer puppies and their need for proper exercise and obedience. He's great with other dogs, he LOVES to play with toys, and is a very healthy boy. Franklin is 8 months old and weighs about 22 pounds with a little more growing to do.
