Lucy's Story...
Hi I’m Lucy. I was born on December 26, 2008. I love to snuggle and be pet - I just can't get enough of all that attention. I would be happy for the rest of my life doing nothing but loving people. I also love to play and will chase balls around for hours, but most of all I love people.
I tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) which means I need to find my forever home in a house without any other cats, or with other FeLV positive cats. Even though I am FeLV positive I remain a very healthy and active young girl, and a cat like me who tests positive for FeLV can live for years.
Please help me find my forever home, or check out the Two Left Paws Guardian Angel program and see how you can help Two Left Paws take care of me while I am in foster care.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Sheboygan Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sheboygan, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sheboygan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheboygan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheboygan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheboygan paves the way for another one to be saved.
